Week 4

This week our identity mural that we created at the end of last term was placed up on the end of the library. It was fantastic to spend some time on Friday afternoon, exploring the school and viewing all the projects that each class has been working on. It is really great to see the students finding creative ways to improve and celebrate their school environment.

We spent some time on Friday taking part in a team 'Marshmallow Tower' building challenge. The challenge was to build the tallest freestanding tower using marshmallows and toothpicks. It was really great to see students participating, sharing ideas and persevering when things didn't quite go as planned!

All students presented their poems this week and it was fantastic to hear such a range of poems. Not only had students learnt their poems but many delivered them with phrasing and expression that engaged and entertained their audience. Next week Georgia and Tristan will be presenting theirs at the syndicate poetry competition.

Enjoy your weekend :)
