What's on the menu?

Week 10 started out fantastically as we had our first turn at "What's on the menu?" Ms. Sims has been working really hard this term to set up the programme and we had a wonderful afternoon working in the garden and preparing the food in the kitchen. Each student had different responsibilities including peeling vegetables, harvesting, setting tables, planting, cutting vegetables and much more. It was great to see them all so involved with tasks and trying some new foods!
We are very lucky to have this opportunity and cant wait until our next turn!

Reminders:
Each week students are responsible for reading 4 nights a week, earning 1000 points on Mathletics and completing their spelling activities to help them learn their words. I know it is nearing the end of the term but the expectation is that these activities are completed. If there is a reason that students are not able to complete a task, eg, interenet is not working etc then please let me know.

Have a great week :)

  1. Samantha still loves Whats on the Menu a great programme to get them thinking about different ways to eat healthy and where food actually gets grown. Nicola
